الدرس التاسع:
السيد C والآنسة G يراقبان حركة تزلج في احد المراكز حيث كان الطقس باردا للغاية .
Miss.G.: Is it your idea, anyway? I feel very cold, and even frozen. Let’s go anywhere and get a cup of hot tea to warm us up.
Mr.C.: That’s fine it suits me. I didn’t expect it would be so cold. My brother’s flat is well furnished. Besides, there is a fire place we can sit round . The curtains are made of a very attractive velvet colour. He’s moved there, after he had sold his old house in our tiny village. I guess I should have worn a heavier coat.
Miss.G.: Of course you should have, the coat you wear is too light for the winter . You should have worn a sweater at least.
Mr.C.:I Suppose so. Any way there is no use worrying about it now. Let’s look for a place where we can eat.
Miss.G.: Why don’t we go to the restaurant we went to last week? We can watch the skating while we have something to eat. Besides, they have put up many beautiful tents.
Mr.C.: That sounds like a fine idea. I used to go there a lot last fall, but I haven’t been there since.
Mss.G.: Neither have I. I guess they don’t put the flags out during the winter , do they? That’s bad but at least we can see the tents. They are lovelier than ever this year.
